Train at Houston’s Top Gun Range with Med Security
Looking to earn your Level 3 Commissioned Security Guard license? Med Security is now offering an official state course for security guard training in the Houston area. A 45-hour course to obtain a Level III license is required by the state of Texas for armed security guards. This course will cover firearms, defensive tactics, awareness skills and much more!
Learn From Expert Trainers in Houston
The course will involve both classroom and hands-on training required by the Private Security Bureau and State of Texas. In addition, students will need to be at least 21 years of age and possess a Level 2 Security Officer license. For information on licensing activation and requirements, visit the Private Security Bureau’s direct website.
The course training will take place at the Med Security office. On the final Friday of class the shooting/handling demonstration will be held at the Top Gun Range. You will join instructor Trevor Blunt throughout the duration of your training. Trevor’s wide-range of knowledge and extensive experience make him the right instructor for your handgun training and continuing education. Class Pricing
- Non-Commissioned Training (Level II) – $60.00
- Renewals (Level III) – $70.00
- Advanced Training (Level III) – $160.00
- COMBINED TRAINING (Level II & III) – $180.00
Gun Range Fees
- Range Cost (per person, no time limit) – $15.00
- Gun Rental – $12.00 (If you rent a gun you must use the range ammo)
- Range Ammo – $20.00 per box
